Revving Up My Career
Wondering about my story? I’m happy to share it with you! I’m also excited to learn more about you when we meet. To sum it up, I love diving into electrical challenges and coming up with practical handyman solutions.
At 16, I began my career as a car mechanic, dedicating eight years to both work and study. I loved the challenge of upgrading old cars, fitting bigger engines and carefully adjusting safety features to match the improvements. Once the cars were ready, I took part in fast 1/4-mile sprints. However, after eight years of expanding my knowledge of the car industry, I felt a sense of stagnation and was eager to take the next step in my journey.
With a particular interest in electrical work, I found an opportunity at the port that set me on a journey of personal development. For three years I worked as a technical service engineer, where I particularly enjoyed the creative challenges. I focused on finding quick solutions to help the large cranes complete their shifts efficiently. The combination of mechanical and electrical tasks is something I really like doing.
Logic Meets Creativity
Over a period of three years in this area of the port, I came to understand that my true interest is in focusing on quality and effectively repairing machines and electrical systems, rather than just making quick fixes. As a result, I moved into a maintenance role within the same company, where I found a greater variety of tasks and the opportunity to combine creativity, quality and personal development. This role gave me the time to carry out repairs and come up with solutions to increase the lifespan of the machines. →
You might ask, "What are you doing on Mallorca now?". As you may have read, my passion is to inspect machines, systems and equipment that are not working properly. I really enjoy delving into mechanicals issues and finding effective solutions. I like to look at mechanical problems and find effective solutions. With 16 years of diverse technical experience under my belt, I've come to realize that it's all about logic. Plus, working from Mallorca, where the sun shines more often than at 'home', just feels like a smarter choice. →
